Seared Ahi Tuna (from Sarah Manaresi’s Kitchen)

4-5 oz of Ahi Tuna
2 tablespoons of sesame seeds
olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Toast 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds in the pan with just a hint of salt.

Heat panini press to sear, or a grill pan on medium-high.

Rinse and pat dry the tuna, spray with olive oil, and salt and peppered it on all sides. Rolled the fish in the sesame seeds and placed it in the press.

Sear for 1 minute or less (I love it raw in the middle!), and then turn it so that each side is done as well. And PRESTO! All done!
