There are some recipes that are just plain good no matter how you make them. This hummus wrap is one of them! Use whatever kind of wrap (but look at labels for nutritional information…several are high in calories) and hummus flavor combination you want. The sky is the limit!

Hummus and Turkey Wrap (from Sarah Manaresi’s Kitchen)

1 tortilla (tomato)
2 tablespoons of red pepper hummus
1 tablespoon of feta cheese
1/4 cup of spring mix lettuces
red bell pepper
turkey slices, chicken breast, or gyro meat

Smear the hummus onto the tortilla wrap. Sprinkle on feta cheese. Add veggies and add protein. Fold and you are done!

Same recipe can be added to a bagel or sandwich bread. Use whatever vegetables on hand such as cucumber, alfalfa sprouts, tomato, and the like. It’s quick and easy, nutritious and delicious!
